Advent Culinary Journey – Discover Christmas Flavours from Around the World!

Every weekend brings a new culinary discovery!

During the four Advent weekends, we prepare four special gastronomic themes. Join us on a festive culinary journey through the Christmas traditions of Austria, Hungary and Italy, followed by a selection of the world's most beloved festive flavours on the fourth weekend.

On Friday evenings, we enrich the buffet dinner at the Corvinus Restaurant with a special themed culinary section, featuring traditional Christmas dishes and festive specialities from the country in focus.

On Saturdays, the festive preparations become a shared experience!

Under the guidance of our pastry chefs, guests can prepare one of the country's traditional Christmas delicacies themselves. This interactive programme combines traditional recipes, wonderful festive aromas and the joy of creating something together, making for truly memorable moments.

Our Advent culinary journey is complemented by candlelit swimming experiences, atmospheric torchlight walks, gingerbread decorating and live music.

1st Advent Weekend – Christmas in Austria

27–29 November 2026

Experience the cosy atmosphere of Austrian Christmas markets, the traditions of an Alpine Advent and the classic flavours of the festive season at the Lotus Therme.

27 November | Friday

• 17:00–21:00 – Advent Culinary Journey: Christmas in Austria – Austrian Christmas specialities featured at the festive buffet of the Corvinus Restaurant
• 19:00–23:00 – Live music at the Shali Mar Bar
• 20:00–22:00 – Champagne and a magical candlelit bathing experience in the indoor adventure pool

28 November | Saturday

• 13:00–16:00 – Sweet Christmas Moments in Austria – festive baking together with our pastry chefs at the Silk & Vine Café
• 14:30–17:30 – Piano music in the hotel lobby
• 15:00–16:30 – Festive gingerbread decorating at the Silk & Vine Café
• From 16:30 – Atmospheric torchlight walk with mulled wine and a spiced surprise. Meeting point: the hotel's main entrance.
• 19:00–23:00 – Live music at the Shali Mar Bar

2nd Advent Weekend – Christmas in Hungary

4–6 December 2026

A weekend celebrating the most beloved flavours and traditions of Hungarian Christmas. Familiar aromas, festive delicacies and heartwarming moments await our guests.

• 16:00–19:00 – St. Nicholas Day magic in the hotel park: festive horse-drawn carriage rides with the illuminated carriage, accompanied by Santa Claus, Krampus and an elf, together with mulled wine and tea

6 December | Sunday

Let yourself be enchanted by the magic of an Italian Christmas! Mediterranean festive spirit, rich culinary traditions and the characteristic delicacies of the Italian Natale make the third Advent weekend truly special.

This weekend brings together the specialities of festive tables from various nations, offering our guests a truly diverse and unforgettable Christmas culinary experience.
